Four more arrested
for RSS office blast
Chennai: Tenkasi
police have arrested
four more Sangh
sympathizers for
bombing RSS office.

office to create
communal tension in
Tenkasi, a busy town
in Tirunelveli
District of
Tamilnadu.
A total of seven
have been arrested
so far for bomb
blasts on January 24
that hit local RSS
office and the new
bus stand. Police
blames Hindutva
activists for
planning and
carrying out the
blasts. Mr. S.
Kannapan, deputy
inspector general of
police said that
"The investigations
revealed that the
blasts were planned
to provoke a
backlash between the
two dominant
communities in
Tenkasi."
The police have
arrested A.
Balamurugan (20), S.
Velmurugan (18), A.
Murugan (24), all
hailing from Tenkasi
and Maasaanam (20)
of Shencottai for
assisting S. Ravi
Pandian, master mind
of the nefarious
plan.
S Ravi Pandian (42),
S Kumar (28), both
from Tenkasi, and V
Narayana Sharma (26)
of Sencottai were
arrested earlier.
Police also
recovered three sets
of pipe bombs from
the arrested.
M. H. Jawahirullah,
president of the
Tamil Nadu Muslim
Munnetra
Kazhagam(TMMK) have
congratulated the
police for their
prompt action and
exposing the
conspiracy of the
RSS.
Mr. Jawahirullah
said that a blast of
this nature could
not have taken place
without Sangh's top
leadership being
aware of it. He
demanded CBI to
reinvestigate the
other blasts in
different parts of
the county in light
of RSS involvement
in this blast.
